Banana Cake With Brown Sugar Icing


1. CAKE:

2. Cream butter and sugar.

3. Add egg and milk with dissolved baking soda.

4. Add flour, vanilla, mashed bananas, baking powder, and pinch of salt; Mix well.

5. Prepare and bake in an 8 inch pan for 25 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

6. ICING:

7. Melt butter in a medium sauce pan.

8. Add brown sugar and corn syrup; stir and let boil for 1 minute.

9. Remove from heat, stir in milk and vanilla.

10. Mix in icing sugar thoroughly.

11. Cool for 1 minute; spread over the top of the cake.
