1. Heat oil in a large pot. Brown together ground beef, onion, and garlic. Drain well. 2. Add all remaining ingredients, including spices. Mix well and bring to a boil. Note: add corn closer to serving the chilli if you prefer a crunchier texture. 3. Simmer uncovered for 30 min, stirring often. Cover and simmer for 60-90 minute Add tomato juice or water if consistency is too thick / simmer uncovered if too runny. 4.
