1. Cut the beef into very thin slices. 2. In a bowl, mix together the egg, garlic, salt, ginger, soy sauce, and wine; marinate beef in mixture for 20-30 minutes at room temperature. 3. Add oil to marinade, mix thoroughly, and marinate for another 30 minutes. 4. Mix the first 2 tsp of cornstarch with the five-spice powder, and add the meat to this mixture. 5. Cut the broccoli into small sprigs. 6. Mix the remaining cornstarch into the water and soy sauce. 7. Heat the oil& the sesame oil in a frying pan and saute the beef for about two minutes. 8. Add the broccoli and cook for five minutes, stirring constantly. 9. Add the cornstarch mixture to the pan, mix well and cook until thick. 10.
