1. Cut the beef into thin slices. 2. Mix together the garlic, lemon rind, ginger, coriander, turmeric, sugar and 2 tablespoons of the oil, add the beef and toss well to coat. 3. Cover and chill for 1 hour. 4. Heat the remaining oil in a wok or frypan; add the beef and stir fry in batches until well browned. 5. Add the coconut and spring onion and fry for 1 minute; return all the meat and juices to the pan. 6.
