Beef Stroganoff (No Butter)


1. Cut meat strips into 1/4" by 1/4" by 1 1/2" pieces.

2. In a heavy skillet, heat olive oil. Add meat and brown well, then add onions, garlic and continue cooking until onions are clear. Add mushrooms and cook until done.

3. Add water, consommé, nutmeg, pepper, paprika and Stroganoff Seasonings. Cover and cook slowly until meat is tender. Stir occasionally.

4. Remove cover and cook until mixture thickens slightly.

5. Before serving add sour cream and chives and blend with noodles then serve.

6. Also can be served over mashed potatoes or rice.
