1. Trim all outside fat from beef and brown in skillet, remove and save drippings. 2. Saute onion and garlic until caramelized in pan drippings. 3. Place roast in a slow cooker and cover with onion and garlic mixture. 4. Combine tomato sauce, and all other ingredients in a small bowl and pour over beef. 5. Cover and cook on high for 8 hours or until beef is tender when pierced with a fork. 6.
