1. Heat oven to 350ºF 2. In the bowl of an electric mixer combine shortening and sugar. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. 3. In a medium bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and baking soda. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until blended. Stir in oats, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, coconut and raisins with spoon. 4. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets lined with parchment, and flatten with fork -- 6 to a sheet, these expand and are large. 5. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove immediately to cooling rack. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
