Bishop'S Bread


1. Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks.

2. Add flour and milk gradually, alternating the wet and dry.

3. Add chopped and mixed fruit.

4. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.

5. Grease and flour a ribmould tin.

6. Fill with mixture.

7. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 F.

8. Turn the oven off and leave in for another 10 minutes.

9. When cool, dust with icing sugar.
