1. Rinse the dried black beans in cold water and drain. 2. Place the dried beans in a five quart slow cooker. 3. Cover the beans with all the ingredients. 4. Cook on low 10-12 hours. 5. Stir and check occasionally to make sure the beans are not getting dry, add water if necessary. 6. When the beans are soft it is done. 7.
