1. cream butter and both sugars together. 2. add eggs. 3. add dry ingredients. 4. mix well. 5. add walnuts. 6. form into 1/2 inch x 3 inch x 12 inch bars and wrap in wax paper. 7. place wrapped bars on cookie sheet in refridgerator for at least 4 hours to harden for slicing. 8. Slice bars into 1/4 inch cookie slabs and place on cookie sheet. 9. bake at 450 deg.
