1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Saute the beef with onions until meat is browned. 3. Soak the bread in half the milk; then mash the slice with a fork. 4. Combine all the ingredients (except the remaining milk and egg). 5. Spread mixture into a greased casserole and bake for 1 hour. 6. Beat the egg with the remaining ½ cup of milk and pour over the casserole. 7. Return to oven for another 30 minutes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
