1. Heat oil in dutch oven, brown roast on all sides. 2. Season with salt and pepper; remove from pan. 3. To pan add mushrooms and onion; saute for 2 minutes. 4. Add garlic, broth and bay leaf; return roast to pan. 5. Cover and simmer for 3 hours. 6. Add peas and cook 10 more minutes. 7. Remove roast to serving platter; stir in sour cream. 8.
