Broiled, "Smokie" Catfish


1. Preheat broiler pan for five minutes.

2. Coat pan with shortening spray.

3. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and liquid wood-smoke flavouring.

4. Place catfish on broiler pan.

5. Brush with soy sauce mixture.

6. Broil three inches from heat for 4- 6 minutes, basting occasionally for 3 minutes or until catfish flakes easily.
