Browned Rice


1. in a large fyring pan, melt butter over low heat.

2. Add rice and cook until golden brown,stirring often.

3. Place cooked rice in a 2 quart casserole and sprinkle on seasonings.

4. Add consomme, water and nuts and mix gently.

5. Cover casserole and bake at 300 degrees for approximately 1 hour.

6. Do not stir.
