1. Remove crusts of the bread slices. 2. Sandwich slices of bread with the apricot jam. 3. Cut each sandwich into fingers. 4. Melt butter, sugar and syrup in a frying pan till the sugar is dissolved. 5. Cook fingers in this mixture, turning over, until golden brown on both sides. 6.
