Caramels


1. Mix everything into a sauce pan.

2. Bring to boiling point over a slow flame, stirring constantly.

3. Cook until hard ball stage, still stirring slowly.

4. Remove from heat and pour into a buttered 8" square pan.

5. Cool, cut into squares.

6. Roll in powdered sugar.

7. Store in covered tin with layers of wax paper between.
