Cardamom Sauce-Kardemommesauce


1. Blend the water and the honey with the cardamom and place over medium-low heat. Bring to a siimer and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

2. Chop the mint leaves and add with the salt to the mixture. Simmer 2 minutes more. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.

3. When ready to serve, add the port and mix well.

4. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more wine and mix again.

5. Pour into serving bowl and serve with sliced roast beef.
