Chewy Oatmeal Cookies


1. Cream margarine and brown sugar.

2. Combine flour and baking soda.

3. Add to creamed mixture, a little at a time, stirring.

4. Add oats and mix well.

5. Shape into 1-1/2 inch balls; roll in the sugar.

6. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

7. Flatten with a glass.

8. Bake at 350* for 10 minutes or until golden.

9. Cool on wire racks.
