1. Cut the chicken into serving portions, rinse and pat dry. 2. Peel and dice carrots and onion. 3. Wash beans and cut into 2 inch pieces. 4. Clean and slice mushrooms. 5. Smash, peel and dice the garlic. 6. Wash, core and chop the tomatoes into 1/4 inch pieces. 7. Place chicken into slow cooker. 8. Add everything else except the rice and water. 9. Cover and cook on low 4-5 hours. 10. Stir in the rice and water. 11. Cover and cook on low 3-4 more hours. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
