1. Combine sugar, vinegar, the 1/4 cup oil, salt, and brown sugar; mix well. 2. Pour over chicken, marinate for at least 20 minutes or longer. 3. Heat oil to 375°F 4. Place one wonton wrapper in basket ladle, fit another ladle on top wrapper to hold in place. 5. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown; drain. 6. Repeat until all wrappers are made into mini baskets. 7. Place baskets on a platter lined with lettuce. 8. Fill each basket with lettuce, chicken, green onion and almonds. 9.
