Chocolaty Toffee


1. Preheat oven to 275.

2. Gease a 15x10x1 jellyroll pan.

3. Beat together the butter and sugar,beat until well mixed.

4. Add in egg yolk,beating until combined.

5. Slowly adding in flour and cinnamon,keep beating.

6. Press batter into pan.

7. With a fork,beat the egg white then brush over dough.

8. Sprinkle pecans and lightly press into the dough.

9. Bake 40-50 minutes or until edged lightly brown.

10. Sprinkle the chocolate chips,and leave to stand for around 3 minutes.

11. With a knife,swirl the chocolate chips.

12. Cut while warm into bars/triangles,etc.

13. Let cool before eating.
