1. Remove excess fat from corned beef. 2. Place onions in a crock pot then brisket with season packet on top of onions. 3. Pour beer and water over place lid on. 4. Set crock pot on low for 6 hours. 5. Place cabbage on and cook on high for 1-2 more hours. 6. Remove meat carefully. It is very tender and can fall apart easily. 7. Slice any excess fat. It should slide right off. 8. Then Proceed with Recipe #57813 if desired. 9. Serve with cabbage, onions and your favorite Irish sides.
