1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. 3. In a separate bowl using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar. 4. Beat in the eggs one at a time. 5. Mix in the beer. 6. Blend the marmalade / apricot jam with a spatula or wooden spoon. 7. Add the flour mixture and blend together. 8. Add the cranberries last. 9. Butter and flour a 9 inch loaf pan. 10. Pour the mixture in and bake for approximately 1 hour, or until a cake tester comes out clean. 11.
