Crock Pot Beef, Burgundy Style


1. Coat meat with a mixture of flour, salt and pepper.

2. Brown meat cubes in 2 Tbsp butter in a large skillet.

3. Set browned meat aside.

4. Add remaining butter to skillet and brown onion, carrot, and garlic.

5. Turn into an electric cooker.

6. Add water to skillet and heat, stirring to loosen browned particles.

7. Put meat, parsley, bay leaf, and marjoram into cooker.

8. Pour liquid in skillet over all.

9. Cover and cook on Low 4 hours.

10. Add potato to cooker; stir.

11. Cover and cook on Low 2 hours.

12. Add wine to cooker; mix.

13. Cover and cook on High 30 minutes.
