1. The night before intending to serve this at a midday meal, combine all the ingredients in a heatproof, ceramic container. 2. Stir well to combine, then cover it & let it stand overnight. 3. In the morning, set the loosely covered container in a saucepan of water & steam for about 4 hours. 4.
