Crunchy Oven French Toast


1. Grease a 15x10x1-inch baking pan.

2. In shallow bowl, combine eggs, half and half, sugar, vanilla and salt; mix well.

3. Place crushed cereal in shallow bowl.

4. Dip bread slices, one at a time, into egg mixture, making sure all egg mixture is absorbed.

5. Dip each bread slice into crumbs.

6. Place in a single layer in greased pan; cover.

7. Freeze 1 to 2 hours or until firm.

8. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

9. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.

10. Serve with strawberry syrup and strawberries.

11. Garnish with whipped topping, if desired.

12. Yield: 8 slices.
