Dim Sims - Aussie Style


1. Make pastry first;.

2. Mix flours, salt, sugar and add boiling water.

3. Mix well, knead on floured bench.

4. Rest before using.

5. Make filling;.

6. Mix meat, and seasonings by hand or pulse in a food processor. Do not over process.

7. Add vegetables and mix by hand.

8. Roll pastry until thin & cut into rounds; I use an egg-ring.

9. Brush edge of rounds with eggwhite.

10. Place 1-2 tablespoons of filling on each round & shape around filling, moulding into an attractive ball-shape; a little filling should be exposed on the top.

11. Steam for 15 minutes OR Deep fry 180 c for 5-10 minutes.
