1. Scrape off the skin of the bittergourd and any hard edges and trim the ends. 2. Finely slice the bittergourd (in circles). 3. Heat oil in a pan. 4. Fry the bittergourd slightly in it. 5. Add a pinch of turmeric powder and salt to taste. 6. Mix well. 7. Remove from heat. 8. Once it has cooled, arrange the bittergourd on a plate with the sliced tomatoes and onions. 9.
