1. Mix cream (or yogurt if substituting), sugar and honey together in a bowl. 2. Sift in flour and ginger. 3. Dissolve baking soda in warm water. 4. Add baking soda-water mixture to the flour-honey mixture. 5. Mix well. 6. Grease a loaf tin. 7. Pour mixture into the greased loaf tin. 8. Bake in a moderate oven for 1 hour. 9. Remove from oven. 10.
