1. put a pot on the stove over high heat, and put the meat. 2. Cover. 3. Cook until all the water cooks out. 4. Add oil, onions, salt, pepper, and any seasonings you have on hand. 5. Cook until the meat is browned. 6. Add the tomatoes, cover, and let that cook down. 7. It gives it a wonderful color. 8. Add carrots and peas, and cover to let all the flavors come together. 9. Add the rice, and immediately add the water or broth. 10. Cover and let that come to a boil. 11.
