1. soak chickpeas in water-cover with water two inches above the beans. 2. cover and let stand for 8 hours. 3. drain. 4. combine chickpeas,cilantro and next 8 ingredients in a food processor, process until mixture resembles coarse meal. 5. divide chickpea mixture into 16 equal portions, shaping each into a 1/2 inch thick patty. 6. heat two tablespoons oil in a large non-stick skillet. 7. add 5 patties cook 3 minutes on each side or until golden. 8. repeat process twice with remaining oil and patties. 9. serve with tahini sauce. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
