Lower heat to medium and slowly add the cream cheese, stirring constantly. 4. Simmer mixture until thick. 5. Add salt and pepper. 6. Saute mushrooms and scallions in a nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray. 7. Cook fettucini according to package directions. 8.
