Filhos (Portuguese Donuts)


1. Bring milk, butter and salt to boil. Remove from stove.

2. Add flour and mix well.

3. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well.

4. Drop by teaspoonful into hot oil.

5. Fry until brown. They will turn by themselves and pop open (no oil will enter them).

6. Shake in a bag with sugar to coat.
