French Fried Onions


1. Slice onions into rings, about 1/4 inch thick and separate into rings.

2. Heat oven to 300. Heat oil about an inch deep in fryer to 375 degrees. Beat ingredients, except onions until smooth. Dip each ring into batter allowing excess to drip into bowl. Fry a few at a time in hot oil for about 2 minutes, turning once until golden brown; drain. Keep warm on cookie sheets in oven.
