1. Season meat with salt and pepper to taste. 2. Brown meat in 2 tablespoons olive oil in skillet then transfer carefully to slow cooker. 3. In slow cooker stir in remaining ingredients EXCEPT peas. 4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 1/2 hours or 9 hours on LOW. 5. Add peas during last 30 minutes of cooking. 6.
