1. Boil cranberries in water until soft and skins have popped. Add sugar and bring to boil. Remove from heat and chill thoroughly. 2. Mix crushed Saltine crackers with the melted butter. 3. Whip cream, sweetened to taste. 4. Cover bottom of glass bowl with half the crushed crackers, then a layer of cranberries, then a layer of whipped cream. 5.
