German Chocolate Pudding


1. Melt chocolate and butter together.

2. Add chocolate mixture to beaten egg yolks; then add 2/3 cups powdered sugar.

3. Chill, then fold in whipped cream.

4. Beat egg whites until peaks form.

5. Add remaining 1/3 cup sugar into eggs and fold into chocolate mixture.

6. Crush vanilla wafer and line a 9X9 inch pan with part of crumbs.

7. Spread 2 cups of chocolate mixture over the crumbs.

8. Repeat with more crumbs and then the pudding mixture.

9. Top pudding with crumbs.

10. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.

11. Cut and serve.
