German Gulasch


1. Cut the bacon and onions into small slices.

2. Clean and dice the carrots.

3. Cook the bacon pieces until limp, then take out of the pot.

4. Add oil to the bacon fat and brown the meat in small portions.

5. Now add the onions and all the remaining ingredients, except sour cream.

6. Cook everything in a slow cooker for 8 hours on low heat.

7. Add sour cream or thicken with water/flour mixture.

8. Season to taste.
