1. In a large saucepan, combine the first eight ingredients. 2. Bring to a boil. 3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. 4. Cool completely. 5. Place onions and eggs in a large jar; add enough vinegar mixture to completely cover. 6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight. 7.
