Green Chili Rice Timbales


1. Slice whole green chilis into twenty two 1/2 inch wide strips.

2. Cross 2 strips in bottom of each of 11 greased 6 ounce baking cups.

3. In large bowl,combine chopped green chilis,salsa,salt,and cumin.

4. Stir in rice and cheese.

5. Spoon into baking cups.

6. Cover and chill.

7. Bake covered at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until heated through.

8. Let stand 5 minutes.

9. Invert onto serving plate.
