1. Place the lentils, water and baking soda in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave until the lentils are soft, about 20 minutes. Drain, then rinse under cold water. 2. Meanwhile, grill the sausages over medium fire, turning frequently, until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 7-9 minutes. 3. Whisk the mustard, vinegar and olive oil together in a bowl. Toss the lentils, walnuts and parsley with the dressing and season with salt and pepper to taste. 4.
