1. Heat shortening in a large, deep skillet. 2. Sear ground beef until it cooks through. 3. Then add onion and saute for 5 minutes. 4. Add celery, hot water, salt and pepper. 5. Cover skillet and simmer for 5 minutes. 6. Add sprouts and heat to boiling. 7. In a small bowl combine the cold water, cornstarch, soy sauce and sugar. 8. Mix together and add to skillet mixture. 9.
