Healthier Alfredo Pasta


1. Melt butter (or margarine, if desired) in a saucepan over medium heat.

2. Add garlic, saute 1 minute.

3. stir in flout.

4. gradually add milk, stirring with a whisk until blended.

5. cook 8 minutes until think and bubbly, stirring constantly.

6. Add cream cheese; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

7. stir in Sundried tomatoes, if desired.

8. Add 1 cup parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until cheese melts.

9. Pour over pasta; toss well to coat.

10. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, parsley and pepper.
