1. Place ginger in a food processor, and process until finely chopped. 2. Transfer to a large pot, and add boiling water. 3. Allow to stand for 1 hour. 4. Drain with a fine sieve lined with a double thickness of damp cheesecloth. 5. Discard solids. 6.
