1. pour olive oil into pot. 2. smash garlic cloves and olives with the side of a butcher knife. 3. let olives and garlic cook in oil until slightly brown. 4. add pepper and onions and cook until soft. 5. squash canned tomatoes in a seperate bowl with your hands. 6. add squashed tomatoes, seasonings, and tomato sauce into pot. 7. cook for about 25 minutes. 8. serve over pasta. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
