Hot German Noodles


1. Rinse noodles with hot water and drain well.

2. In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp.

3. Drain and crumble.

4. Remove all except 1 tablespoon of bacon drippings.

5. Add onion to skillet and cook until tender.

6. Stir in sugar, flour, celery or cabbage, salt and pepper.

7. Add water and vinegar.

8. Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring frequently.

9. Add cooked noodles and parsley.

10. Cook over low heat until thoroughly heated.
