1. in large mixing bowl combine butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar and flour; blend until crumbly. 2. firmly press crumb mixture into a 9 inch square baking pan. 3. bake at 350 for 10 minutes; set aside to cool. 4. in another bowl combine remaining sugar, 1 tbsp flour, and salt, blend well. 5. add eggs; 1 at a time beating well after each. 6. blend in liqueur. 7. mix in nuts. 8. spread evenly over cooled crust. 9. bake at 350 for 20 minutes. 10. cool in pan before cutting into bars. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
