1. Carefully cut partially thawed pound cake into 4 horizontal slices. 2. Set each aside. 3. Combine cheese, sugar, chocolate, apple, and almond extract; mix well. 4. Spread cheese mixture on each slice and reassemble into loaf. 5. Chill at least 10 hours or overnight. 6. Just before serving, frost with whipped cream; sprinkle with nuts. 7.
