Italian Pot Pies


1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2. In a large skillet, heat oil and add chopped onion and carrots.

3. Saute until vegetables are tender. Add ground beef and continue frying until meat is no longer pink.

4. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.

5. Add seasonings/sauce and mix.

6. Cook until thickened. approximately 10 minutes.

7. Spoon mixture into 4 8 oz. ramekins.

8. Set aside.

9. In mixing bowl whisk together the dry ingredients.

10. Make a well in the centre and add the wet ingredients.

11. Combine just until moistened.

12. Mound spoonfuls of dough on top of the ramekins.

13. Place on rimmed baking sheet.

14. Place in oven and bake 10-12 minutes.

15. Test doneness with toothpick.
