1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together in a bowl; set aside. 3. In a mixing bowl, blend butter and shortening. 4. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. 5. Gradually add dry ingredients, making a soft dough. 6. Divide dough into 4 pieces. 7. Roll each piece into a long roll, about a 1/2-inch diameter; cut into 2-inch pieces. 8. Roll each piece in sesame seeds. 9. Place 1-inch apart on a baking seet. 10. Bake 20-25 minutes, until lightly golden brown. 11. Cool on wire racks. 12.
